I was so excited to get home from my latest trip abroad to find my first ever Fab Fit Fun box waiting for me! Have you tried it yet? As I said, this was my first one, and I am in love. This subscription box is filled with self care, beauty, and home products that are selected by you (5 or so) and the company.
So, I don’t know about y’all, but when I was a kid, I used to LOVE getting mail. That sort of shifted about the time I moved out of the dorm for the first time and my first set of bills came and expected to be paid…the mail and I have had a love hate relationship since that point. For the first time in a while, I was looking forward to getting this package in my mail box. The first time fee is $39.00, and will go up to $49.00 for future boxes (you can use this link to get $10.00 your first box!) but the value of the items is at least $200 dollars!!!
The choice items I selected are based on what I wanted and what I thought other people on my Christmas list would want. Yep, I am using it to do some Christmas shopping in addition to having a few treats for myself. You can’t do that with other subscription boxes.
So, let’s take a look at the items that came in box number 1 and what I’m keeping versus gifting. The initial presentation is important, the box is colorful, the opening is relatively easy, and everything is boxed attractively. It feels like you are opening a gift rather than getting a package from an online retailer.
I was quite excited about the aroma therapy, Aveda hair conditioner, and Amika flat iron. The flat iron is one of the reasons I but the bullet on this particular box – I have had the same one for more than a decade, and honey, it was time.
For others, I selected a pair of earrings for one of my family members (still debating coming off the hip for this one, they were really pretty), and some of the bath products that really seemed to fit one of my nieces. The sugar body scrub looks like it is going to be a lovely, moisturizing treatment for fall and winter days that can be very drying to the skin. Lastly, these hair ties are going to be perfect additions to a certain stocking!
Overall, I’m really impressed with the quality of the box I received and variety of the items in the box. There were none that I looked at and thought “nope!” to, which is a minor miracle for me and my sensitive skin. I am really excited to get my winter box and make the selections for customizing that box. I may try a few of the “add ons” for this go round to see what the quality of the sale products is like.
